About us

The power of teamwork; behind every great human achievement, there is a team.

A brief History

Engaged Communities C.I.C. is a social enterprise building a cutting edge community technology.

We envisage a portfolio of products, however, our first is GoVolunteering, the next generation volunteering software built on the success of a platform we developed during the pandemic. It had huge success and was used to deliver, at scale, over 6500 volunteers, 300k volunteer hours and over £3m worth of value.

Based on this achievement, we are now developing the next upgrade of that software which will have enhanced features and capability – a technology product to capture the volunteer market.

For Volunteers; An easy to use place to find personalised opportunities and manage their volunteering portfolio

For Volunteer Managers; An end to end experience that allows you to self serve, schedule, manage and retain volunteers. Reduces admin time and improves your volunteer experience.

For Organisations; Centralise your Employee Volunteer Scheme with our customised software that goes beyond the basics

How we work

We are an people organisation. This means a very different way of working that is conducive to rapid decision and learning cycles, dynamic solutions, networked teams and innovation.

Being a people orientated team enables us to be defined by outcomes rather than inputs and actions, leading to better results and social impact.

We recruit, train, develop and motivate talent from diverse backgrounds, to create an agile workforce that can offer solutions for our community, clients and other stakeholders, focused on project management, user experience and technology solutions.

We have created an environment that is safe, inspiring and enables people to achieve their full potential and thrive. Engaged Communities is a living wage employer.

Our mission is to help unleash the potential of every team.
